CAN MORE JOB AND EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES CHANGE THE PERSPECTIVE AND THE SITUATION OF COLOMBIA?

During the years, people see how the unemployment statistics are growing up. In Colombia is very difficult to get a job even if a person is a professional. We do not have a lot of job sources and opportunities to be prepare for the future witch is one of the million of reasons why people choose illegal ways to supply their needs.

Here in the country is very common to see a hundred of children working on the street like singing or selling food in small business instead of to be learning at school, witch is prohibit according to the children rights. Beside, many situations show that parents do not have a job have not the economic resources to support their son’s activities such as pay school so they order to children to look for a job. Free education would be the solution for this situation, but the budget of our government is too high. If Colombia did not have a lot of corruption, people could get the resources to make more accessible the education to everybody.

In the other hand, people who graduated from school have more opportunities (just a little) to get a job, but they do not have the same knowledge that people who went to the university and who are working in places that others going to work. Is important to the companies to train their employees. Statistics shows that companies who train their employees have a higher productivity than others and also have more opportunities to grow up and export.

In conclusion, Colombia needs to finish the corruption problems that do not allow people and the country development. Without corruption, government can invert and spend money in educations and jobs projects that allow people grow up having more opportunities to survive and to have a better preparation for the future.
