Colombian national team

After wining america's cup, Colombian national team has been changing coaches without leaving any of them to perform the process they had in mind, this issue is thanks to the bad results, the passivity of the players, and the really poor definition strikers got, wasting a lot of chances to score each match.
The new coach Eduardo Lara, thinks that making a mix between young and experienced players (more young than exp. tho) is the key of victory. We have to recognize that the national team is and never has been bad or easy to beat, the defenders and goalkeepers do an excellent job each match, but as we said before the fact that the strikers and wingers waste too much chances to score, decreases the team spirit and sooner or later the defenders cant handle rivals and we loose. The last game against brazil showed a pretty organized team, young players figthing each ball, running the 90 minutes, facing brazil as if it was any other team and not the 5 times world champion and not being scared of ronaldinho, kaka, pato and the other brazil star players, Colombia played so well that the brazilians couldnt do anything to break the defense, and our team attaked almost all the game, but no scoring.
We won a point from the "maracana" (brazil stadium), that keep us alive in the wiling of clasifying to the 2010 world cup, and showed a team that colombians didnt see long time ago. We hope Colombia continue improving and keep showing we got great football and awesome players that are playing in important worldwide teams, so we need to work hard and score to go to south africa in 2010.
